People and Puppies!

Over the holidays, I had to have surgery on my foot/ankle.  I somehow managed to tear one of the ligaments and it needed to be sewn back together! <-- not so much fun.  I am in a cast up to my knee which has given me a lot of couch time. This makes the kitties very happy.. I on the other hand and going CRAZY being stuck!  But.. it has given me the opportunity to get blogging.. so lets get to it!

Connecticut is beautiful at every season, but there is something about a fall day in October that just melts my heart.  The cool crisp air and the color in the leaves matched with cozy sweaters and thick wool socks makes everything seem a little better!  

You don't have to go far to find the beauty either!  I met up with Taylor, her sister Kate and their husbands and we took some pretty awesome photos, just hanging out around the house! Oh and there was a pretty cute puppy too!

 Miss Paisley was all about having her photos taken too!

 Not only do I love a little sun flare.. But it's the sweet moments that happen that make my job THE BEST.  How cute are these two? 

Carter Turns ONE!!!

Hi All!

One of the best parts of my job is meeting so many new faces of all ages and capturing important milestones and moments in their lives!  One of my favorite photo sessions is by far the messiest and that my friends is the Year One cake smash!  If you have a little one and haven't heard of this, KEEP READING! 

So what happens at a year one photo session? Well, we can do whatever you want! But typically we break it up two ways, the clean pretty photos and then the messy awesome photos!  

This is Carter!  He came into the studio with his little pinstriped shirt and bow tie and I melted! He is just so sweet.
