The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and Ben is smashing CAKE!!!
What better way to kick off your first year here in this world then by smashing your hands into a cake and throwing it around? I mean honestly…
For those of you who have NO idea what I'm talking about, lets start from the beginning! One of the best parts of my job is watching children grow up in front of my camera. Ben is NO exception!
Most photo sessions are not so messy. But the year one, plus cake means someone (or everyone) is getting covered in frosting and cake bits. SO.. we do the "clean" photos first!!
Mom had an outfit and some cute birthday accessories for our photo session, but when he came in the studio with his jean jacket and hoodie, I melted. I asked if we could get a few shots in with that outfit because it was the cutest!
Let me start off by saying Ben is the happiest, smiliest boy. I love when he comes to visit!
Ben put on his Mickey birthday shirt and off we went!
I had to add this photo because I think its hilarious. Apparently, the props that we have in studio are SUPER comfy. As soon as Ben realized he could lay back and still be on a fluffy seat with a soft blanket, he made the most of that situation! :)

I think it's pretty clear Ben HATED his cake smash session. Wouldn't you agree?
That poor cake did not stand a chance!!! SOO YUMMY!!
